I cheated in a single player game on my own by my self in a game that didn't tell me in any way that it suddenly has vac protection enabled for literally every game mode. It is ridiculous that I was vac banned in this game and it is ridiculous that everyone else who was banned for whatever reason was banned as well. Completely ignoring the fact that according to steam itself dying light is not a vac secured game. I contacted support about it and received a response in 10 minutes telling me that it is a vac ban and it is there forever. That means 11 days went by with vac secretly activated and banning people who have no idea it is even in the game. In the sticky they said vac has been enabled since the 29th of January. No one was ever told that dying light had vac until today on the steam discussions it was made a sticky post. Let me say that again, Steam Work Shop Mods.
CAN I GET BANNED FOR CHEATING ON DYING LIGHT STEAM MODS
Countless people have received vac bans for having steam workshop mods for dying light installed. I'm not the only person affected by this either. I now have a permanent stain on my account for cheating on a vac secured server in a game that does not officially have vac protection. Yet I was banned for cheating in dying light regardless.
Dying light did not have vac when I purchased it months ago, and according to the store page it still does not have vac protection. I was vac banned in dying light while playing single player.
